Dushyant Shahrawat, Senior Research Director, Capital Markets, CEB TowerGroup

Dushyant Shahrawat is a Senior Research Director in CEB TowerGroup’s Capital Markets practice. With over 20 years of experience in financial services, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society. He researches strategic issues facing asset managers, hedge funds, and brokerage firms globally and advises clients about strategy, marketing, regulation, technology, and product development. In over a decade as an industry analyst, he has written 90 reports covering new investment products, electronic trading, agency brokerage, regulation, market structure, and outsourcing. He has served on the advisory board of the US Institute, Institutional Investor’s membership group of Chief Investment Officers. Dushyant is also Director of the Advisory Board for Mercy College’s Center for Ethics and Leadership Communication.

Joey Cozens-Smith, Business Development Manager, StatPro

Joey, 26, joined StatPro UK in March 2011 as a Revolution Product Specialist and then went on to become Business Development Manager UK, in early 2013. In his current role he works with a number of organizations across the fund administration, management and distribution spectrum. His primary focus is to strengthen StatPro’s market position through building awareness of our solutions, a strong understanding of our clients’ aims, pains and objectives and then integrating the two in a strategically beneficial way.

Katie Ohnemus, Revolution Product Specialist, StatPro

It is Katie’s role to ensure that our North American clients are up to speed on using StatPro Revolution. Her responsibilities include supporting new clients with data integration, training and analysis.

Laurent Laclaverie, MD, Asia Pacific, StatPro

Having initially joined StatPro in 1999 as Head of Sales Benelux, by 2003 Laurent was managing Client Relationships and Services for all of Continental Europe (excl. Germany).  In 2007 he became Managing Director France & Benelux.  Laurent has moved to Hong Kong in 2011 to establish StatPro’s presence in Asia, supporting and extending our client base. Prior to that he was at American Express for 8 years during which time he held various positions in the Establishment Services sales department culminating in the role of Director of Strategic Alliances, Europe.  He then spent 2 years structuring the sales process for Standard & Poor’s Funds Services in Benelux. Laurent holds a postgraduate degree in international financial management from the ESG in Paris.

Neil Smyth, Marketing & Technology Director, StatPro

Neil, 37, is responsible for the overall technology strategy and global marketing activity. He joined StatPro in 1997 as a graduate after completing his MSc in Multimedia Technology culminating in a 6 month placement with SONY at their European R&D center in Brussels. Neil has held positions in QA, client services and IT and was the CTO before taking up his current position in January 2011. Neil started the research project which became StatPro Revolution in 2008, leading an initial group of architects and developers to produce prototypes and public beta’s ready for the commercial launch in March 2011. Neil continues to be part of the StatPro Revolution working group today.

Gillian Wood, Performance Consultant, StatPro

Gillian joined StatPro in London in 2002 as a Performance Consultant. A year later she moved into the development team as Product Manager for the StatPro Seven equity attribution products. In this role she was involved in liaising with the Client Services team and clients to understand and specify new functionality for future releases. In 2008 she transferred to the newly created Sydney office to help build support and knowledge of the StatPro suite of products in that region. She was promoted to Client Services Manager in 2012 and now heads up the team of Performance Consultants supporting the APAC region. Prior to joining StatPro Gillian spent over four years as Head of Performance for a large Asset Manager based in South Africa.
