Portfolio Oversight from StatPro

Regulators, investment committees and clients increasingly want asset managers to be able to immediately generate updates on the status of the funds they have fiduciary responsibility for. Demands for the net asset value (NAV) of a fund to be instantly made available or for stress tests to be run are ever more prevalent, so in 2013, it is imperative that effective oversight can be demonstrated. The complex asset mix found in fund of fund (FOF) means that stakeholders who want better oversight and reporting of their complex aggregated investment portfolios require advanced solutions to ensure proper reporting coverage.

It’s not just traditional and hedge fund managers who are demanding better technological assistance to meet their oversight responsibilities, but the entire asset management industry.

Is your fund prepared for oversight demands in 2013?

Are you an ACD, Trustee, ManCo or Director? As an Asset Manager do you perform your own governance and oversight?

Recent high profile cases in the press highlighted the lack of oversight of funds within the investment community. In our webinar recording several industry experts discuss:

  • managing and monitoring oversight in the investment industry
  • investigating and handling possible historical conflicts of interest
  • best practices for sharing and verifying data in a portfolio
  • improving transparency of funds
