Justin Wheatley
Group Chief Executive

Justin, born in 1964, founded StatPro in 1994
having previously run S&P Micropal's Swiss Office since 1991.
Over the period that Justin has run StatPro the company has evolved
significantly. Starting as a software development business, StatPro
produced TAP, a product designed by Justin, which went on to be
sold to over 500 asset managers around the world as a module of
S&P Micropal. In 1998, StatPro diversified its products and
built StatPro Composites, a GIPS management system (also originally
designed by Justin) that has gone on to sell to over 100 asset
managers around the world. In 1998, StatPro sold its interest in
S&P Micropal France to S&P and used the £1.8 million
proceeds to increase investment in StatPro Composites. In 1999,
StatPro raised a further £2.0 million for investment and in May
2000 StatPro floated on the London Stock Market raising a further
£5.0 million.
Justin then lead a series of acquisitions of
financial software companies in order to expand the range of
products that StatPro could offer its now greatly expanded customer
base including, AMS in Paris for a Performance & Attribution
product, Riskmap in Milan for a Risk product, Kizen in Cape Town
for a Compliance Product, Delve in London for a Reporting Product
and FRI in Canada for a Portfolio Management product and a Data
Valuations service. In addition to these acquisitions StatPro has
invested heavily to develop these products so that they could be
integrated to form StatPro Seven and also acquired several
competitors companies including Alphai in Sydney and Performa in
London.
Following a strategic review lead by Justin in
2005 there started the plans to ultimately build and release
StatPro Revolution, a cloud based multi-tenant Portfolio Analytics
Service. Active plans for StatPro Revolution began in 2007 and
development started in 2008. The service was launched as a beta in
July 2010 and for commercial use in March 2011. Justin has been
actively involved at each stage of this development. StatPro
Revolution offers the highest quality portfolio analysis for a
fraction of the price of traditional systems thus making it
available for any size of asset management company.
Justin's day to day responsibilities are to
run the Group Executive team and help plan all aspects of StatPro's
business strategy.
