London – Senior Sales Specialist – Delta

Delta is an award-winning multi asset portfolio and risk analytics platform used by major insurance companies, pension funds, asset managers, hedge funds, private banks, broker-dealers, central banks and investment consultants.

We are looking for an intelligent and highly motivated Senior Sales Specialist who is able to make an immediate impact. This exciting sales opportunity provides the candidate to work for a leading, respected and successful portfolio analytics company.

The Sales Specialist will work closely with the Head of Business Development as well as collaborate with colleagues in Technical Sales, Client Services, Product Management and the Quant team.

Reporting Line: Head of Business Development, Delta

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Solid sales experience and track record, with a new business edge
  • Skills to manage senior relationships, upsell to existing clients as well as bring on new clients. In this regard, negotiation, execution and closing skills is critical
  • Strong understanding of portfolio and risk analytics and its various use cases on the buy-side and sell-side
  • Strong domain knowledge of Fixed Income and/or Market Risk
  • Good working knowledge of Asset Liability Management (ALM) is a plus
  • Consultative and Solution based sales approach
  • Prior experience of covering UK, Netherlands and/or Nordics markets

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own and grow existing client relationships
  • Develop the new business pipeline, pitch and win new business
  • Gain a strong understanding of the Delta platform and its various use cases
  • Build broad knowledge of other StatPro Risk and Performance solutions
  • Identify client business needs, use cases and formulate sales strategies to continue to build the franchise
  • Achieve sales and retention targets year-on-year
  • Collaborate with Technical Sales, Product Management and the Quant team teams in engaging with the Client base on relevant themes

  • Good understanding of Portfolio Management
  • CFA/FRM or MBA is a plus, but not required
