Trading Update

StatPro Group plc (“StatPro”) the leading supplier of performance measurement software for use by asset managers globally, today announces excellent progress in securing new clients and, as a consequence, preliminary results for the year to 31 December 2000 will be in line with market expectations.

At the start of 2000, StatPro had 11 contracts. By the end of the year, StatPro had achieved a total of 74; this represents a growth of more than 400% in subscription revenue.

All sales territories (UK, France, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany and the USA) have experienced strong growth.

In March 2000, StatPro acquired Paris-based AMS S.A. (“AMS”) for £1.3m. AMS developed and distributed attribution analysis software for the asset management industry and StatPro has since adapted its products with great success. Since AMS’s integration, StatPro has doubled the number of contracts to 23 and increased the value of the annual subscription revenue four-fold.

Justin Wheatley, CEO, said:

“StatPro has had a great 2000.The integration of AMS has gone extremely well and we have won a significant number of contracts from blue-chip clients proving the excellence of our products and our team.

After a successful flotation in May, we have built a formidable sales team that has already delivered excellent results for the year ended 31 December 2000.

We remain confident that our progress will continue and that our business will go from strength to strength. I look forward to another successful year.”

StatPro currently intends to announce its final results on 26 February 2001.
